💡 Practical Usage Tips

• The glass surface must be cleaned with an ammonia-free solution and be completely free of dust to ensure the STATIC CLING mechanism creates a perfect vacuum bond.
• Applying a mixture of water and a few drops of dish soap to both the window and the film allows the material to slide easily into the correct position before being squeegeed.
• Leaving a tiny gap of about 1/16th of an inch between the edge of the film and the window frame prevents the material from lifting due to the THERMAL EXPANSION of the glass.
• Removing the transparent protective backing is the most critical step, as the film will fail to stick if this secondary layer is left in place.
